Each year I direct photoshoots with Team USA athletes. This requires me to hire photographers and meet with them in advance to share our vision and goals. I find and reserve locations, collect props for the shoot, share wardrobe requests with athletes and establish timelines to move things along smoothly. I also research current trends in photography and publications for poses, backdrops, and props. On site, work with photographers on lighting, gels, angles, etc., help athletes select clothing, suggest poses and may even hold a fan to create a wind effect.
