#morethanmedals campaign
In 2023, U.S. Figure Skating's CEO initiated the creation of a campaign to allow athletes be heard and bring awareness to the public that the International Olympic Committee had still not awarded medals in the 2022 Olympic team event while Russia was still being investigated for doping charges. This campaign was called #MoreThanMedals to emphasis the importance of clean sports. It included: national media coverage and interviews, a social media video series, social media updates and an exhibit at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum. I led the creative direction on the campaign.
The first step for this campaign was creating an exhibit for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Musem Display. I worked with museum staff to determine the best location and size for the exhibit. This exhibit featured a QR code that linked to a vieo our staff created and the nine empty medal boxes athletes were given.
